Bertram Rieger
Bertram is a graduate from the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel, Germany. He trained in Orthopaedic Surgery in Switzerland at Kantonsspital Baselland before moving to Perth where he first completed the busy Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital. After this he became a Sports Surgery Fellow with ORFWA for Dr. Pete D’Alessandro where he gained a vast experience in complex arthroscopic procedures of the knee and shoulder. He particularly enjoyed the broad spectrum of cases and the professional teaching environment.
Bertram consults privately at the ALTIUS Swiss Sportmed Center near Basel where he specializes in knee and shoulder arthroscopy and sports medicine. He is the team physician of the U17 Swiss National Football Team.
