Steve Dalgliesh

Steve was born and raised in Scotland, where he studied medicine at the University of Dundee graduating in 2007. His orthopaedic training took place in eastern Scotland and was completed in 2018. Steve then moved to Perth with his family to attend an arthroplasty Fellowship with Prof. Kahn and Prof. Fick at The Joint Studio. After this experience he completed the Perth Sports Surgery Fellowship 2019 with Mr. Pete D’Alessando focusing on complex reconstructions of the multi-ligament injured knee.

Steve currently is a consultant at the NHS Tayside in Dundee where he specializes in Sport Surgery of the Knee, Lower Limb Arthroplasty and Trauma.

Of his fellowship with ORFWA he particularly enjoyed the high volume of knee ligament reconstruction cases he could perform as a primary surgeon, including the surgical management of knee dislocations.
