Uriel Giwnewer

Uriel completed his medical degree from Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheba - Israel. He undertook Orthopaedic training in Emek MC, completing it in 11/2019.

Following this, Uriel worked as a consultant in Emek MC for a year and following his passion for sport surgery completed the PSSF in 2021 with Mr Peter D’Alessandro where he focussed on all aspects of Knee, Hip and Shoulder sport surgery with emphasis on soft tissue knee reconstruction.

Uriel is currently a Consultant at Emek MC where his focus is on Knee and sport Hip Surgery. He particularly enjoys teaching and clinical research in cooperation with the Biomechanical Lab in the Technion University.

Outside medicine, Uriel is happily married with four wonderful children and enjoys keeping fit with Crossfit, mountain biking and Kite surfing, the last of which was picked up during his fellowship in Perth.
